- Adapter is designed to slide inside the boiler outlet and has a 3/16" roll formed bead that is designed as a stopping point, and to close any gap between the adapter and the boiler outlet. We provide a worm drive clamping ring for boilers that come with certain types of "tabbed" outlets around the outside of the outlet. Once the MBA is inserted into the outlet, the clamp goes over the tabs and tightens down to provide a rigid connection.
